Default Runes... how to implement

I know there is no such thing as a dumb question but... THESE ARE DUMB QUESTIONS!

I haven't come across many runes in my time playing. Guess I'm not lucky enough or just not blessed enough... pathetic karma, I know!

When you have a rune, are there special ones for different classes? Once you have one thats applicable to you what do you do to make it work? Is it a stack you put on your weapon? Your armor? etc.

Please fill me in so I will be more fully aware of the conditions that runes present and how I can go about using them at all!

Runes are acquired by salvaging enemy armors with an expert salvage kit. You can find both class specific (usable only by characters of the appropriate *primary* class) and general runes.

To use a rune, simply double click on it, then on a piece of armor. You'll automatically craft that rune into your suit of armor, giving you its bonus when that armor is worn. Each piece of armor can hold one rune, and it cannot be removed.

You can use 5 runes total - one each in your helmet, chestpiece, leggings, gloves, and boots. Runes of the same type do not stack - only the strongest one functions.

For a listing of the runes available in game, go HERE.

Peace,
-CxE

Like dwarvern bracers? Can you salvage runes out of junk or just yellow/green drops?

i am pretty sure that you have a good chance of getting a rune if you salvage rare armor with an expert kit, like an ettin's pauldron with yellow text. you do, however, have the rare chance to salvage a minor rune from normal armor using an expert kit.
please correct me if i am wrong.

Yeah, the only Rune that I've ever aquired was from a Yellow-text creature armour... it wasn't even from a very strong creature, but I ended up with a Major Rune of Vigor, so I can't complain. I don't know if it mattered, but I "identified" the item before salvaging.

The unidentified items are so tempting to identify... just cause it get's you thinking the "what's behind door number 3" scenario etc.
